The Divine Mercy Cenacle is a small spiritual group which meets weekly for faith formation.
The hourly meeting begins with prayer, specifically offering the Chaplet of Divine Mercy for special intentions: an end to abortion, vocations to the priesthood or religious life, recovery of health, that God will show mercy to a dying soul, or other intentions that members would like to include.

The group experiences the richness of the Catholic Faith through the combination of a reading from Sacred Scripture, a few paragraphs of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and five to ten pages of the Diary of St. Maria Faustina Kowalska – Divine Mercy in my Soul.

Each member is reminded to take daily opportunities to fulfill exercises in the spiritual or corporal works of mercy, to participate in Eucharistic Adoration, to meditate on Jesus’ Passion at 3PM (The Hour of Mercy) by reciting a chaplet if possible, and to spread the message of Divine Mercy.

The message itself is clear. Jesus Himself gives us the command, “Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful (Lk 6:36). Another command in the Sacred Scripture that God declared to Moses is, ‘… be holy, for I am holy” (Lev 11:44). Lastly in the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus tells us, “Be perfect therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect” (Mt 5:48). These commands are one and the same. It we are to be holy as He is holy, perfect as He is perfect, then we need to be merciful as He is merciful. That is Divine Mercy!

We encourage new members to join, as the message is ongoing.
