Palm Sunday can be a rollercoaster of emotions. From the Joy and exuberance of Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem to sadness and loss of at the death of Jesus.
The Church, in its infinite wisdom, plunges us into the Paschal Mystery itself, dying and rising with Christ, that we may feel as much as possible empathy with Christ in order to deepen our faith.
Jesus has redeemed us by His obedience to the Father and we can enter into the Passion of Christ most effectively through obedience to the Church. All the Church requires is a fast and abstinence on God Friday and Mass on Easter Sunday—but the Church urges us to do much more.

Take part in Holy Thursday and Good Friday services; persevere in whatever resolutions you were practicing during Lent; add some spiritual and corporal works of mercy into your daily routine.
