Achdiocese of San Antonio is conducting our first capital campaign in over 60 years,
On the Way - ¡Ándale!

The archdiocese currently serves a growing population of 2.6 million people in 19 counties throughout South Central Texas. Over the next decade, nearly 200,000 Catholics are expected to move into our area. Our growth as a faith community is truly a blessing! Extensive investment is needed to continue to meet the human and spiritual needs of the faithful in our area.

Campaign Goal: Strengthen Our Parishes
$21 Million: A percentage of funds raised at each of our 138 parishes and 34 mission parishes will be returned directly to each parish to be used for its own approved specific needs.

Campaign Goal: Establish New Parishes
$7.1 Million: We need to establish up to eight new parish communities in the next ten years to welcome the nearly 250,000 additional Catholics who are moving into the Archdiocese of San Antonio.

Campaign Goal: Fund Catholic Charities Outreach Program
$8.7 Million: Catholic Charities annually assists over 238,000 people by providing over 40 bilingual and culturally sensitive programs throughout the 19 counties which comprise the Archdiocese of San Antonio without regard to gender, race, creed, religion, disability, national origin, or socioeconomic status.

Campaign Goal: Build A Pilgrimage Center at Mission Concepción
$2.2 Million: Renovating and repurposing the chapel at the former St. John's Seminary to become a center for pilgrimages to the Catholic Spanish Missions will give the Church the opportunity to recount the history of the Franciscan missionaries who founded the missions as places of faith and refuge.

Campaign Goal: Modernize Assumption Seminary
$3.3 Million: To minister to our rapidly growing population we must ensure well-formed and well-rounded priests to celebrate the sacraments, to form and sustain community life, and to guide us on the way of Christian discipleship.

Campaign Goal: Support Ecclesial Lay Ministry Formation
$2.2 Million: These funds will make available degree and certificate level formation to lay persons who are actively involved in or willing to commit to leadership positions in the mission of the Church.

Campaign Goal: Stengthen Campus Ministry
$8.1 Million: We must build dynamic campus ministry programs for the more than 35,000 Catholic students attending one of the 14 colleges and universities in our archdiocese.

Campaign Goal: Renovate Catholic Schools
$7.3 Million: Funds raised in our On the Way - ¡Ándale! Capital Campaign will be used to serve as an investment in the future of Catholic Schools through providing major impact grants for substantial capital improvements and building projects.
