Youth For Christ

Joining the Youth for Christ's Society is a great honor and also a life time spiritual experience that will help you to find your place in this complicated world and discover how precious you are in the eyes of the Lord who as Pope John Paul II says, loves you, searches for you and needs you.
time spiritual experience that will help you to find your place in this complicated world and discover how precious you are in the eyes of the Lord who as Pope John Paul II says, loves you, searches for you and needs you.
The mission of the Youth for Christ is to help young people of our parish develop a close friendship with the Lord and one another as faithful and dedicated members of the Annunciation BVM Church.

The membership of Youth for Christ consists of individuals aged 14 years old and older willing to serve the Lord with their talents and skills in our Parish Family and St. Hedwig Community.

The purpose of the Youth for Christ' ministry is to give every young person in our parish an opportunity to grow in faith and become a happy follower of Christ by being an active member of His Church.

Christmas activities include decorating for the Wigilia; setting up the outdoor Christmas manger; helping to decorate inside the church, singing Christmas carols at parishioners' homes.

Making and selling flower arrangements in honor of Valentine’s Day; and preparing and serving Lenten soup suppers for First Fridays during lent and sponsoring Easter egg hunt.

Helping the Rosary Society with their Annual Turkey Dinner; preparing and delivering Thanksgiving meals to the sick and housebound parishioners.

Honoring Mothers and Fathers on their special days with the gift of flowers and cookies.

Our group meets on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the St. Francis hall. Please visit the parish web site for more information.
